What are you supporting?

At Rebuilding Together, Platte Valley East, Inc., we provide repairs and modifications to the homes of our area's low-income homeowners... in short, we work on homes.  However, what we are really doing is rebuilding the lives of people in our community.  We are bringing hope to a difficult situation.  We are allowing an elderly person to spend more time aging in their own home where they are most comfortable and happy.  We are allowing young families and single parents the opportunity to improve on their investment which is one step to helping move them out of poverty and brings the simple joy and hope of having something nice...maybe for the first time in their lives.  We are helping to provide a safe and healthy environment for children to grow and learn.  The work begins on the home, but ends with giving our neighbors a hand-up towards hope for a better future.
